Keep Memories Safe with a USB Photo Keeper 24Oct12

What is the best way to keep the pictures you take with a digital camera? It is funny to think that just a few years ago the only way to view our pictures was to have the roll of film developed. And what was the best way to keep those pictures? In photo albums or a shoe box; and for the more creative soul, a scrapbook. But either way, unless you literally lost those hard copy pictures you always knew where to find them and they were safe. As I take pictures these days with my digital camera and store them on my computer I worry about the safety of my pictures that reflect the memories of my life.

The other night I was uploading pictures to my computer from a vacation I recently took. Per usual, after I loaded the pictures from the memory card, I then uploaded the pictures to a photo/video website where I can share those pictures with my family and friends. I like the idea of uploading the pictures to the website because it can serve as a back-up in case something happens to my computer. But for the nervous side of me, uploading the pictures to the website just is not enough. So this got me thinking that I definitely need to come up with a backup plan just in case something happens. Wouldn’t you know, I found the USB Photo Keeper which is exactly what I need to keep my peace of mind when it comes to storing my photos electronically. usb photo keeper

The USB Photo Keeper is a thumb-sized storage flash drive and another alternative way to backup your photos. The Picture Keeper does all of the work for you. All you have to do is plug the Picture Keeper into a USB 2.0 port of your computer or laptop, and it will automatically locate and back up every JPEG photo file with one click of a start button. What makes this Photo Keeper even more convenient? It will not backup duplicate photos! You can use this as many times as you upload pictures without your old photos being duplicated.

I love the idea of the USB Photo Keeper because it eases my concerns. While I do still wish I could print out all of my pictures from vacation, I have found that since I now take an unlimited amount of photos, I would have way too many photos and albums in my apartment!
